“Public Engagement in Horticulture: Creating Lasting Impressions Through
Landscape.”
With
millions of visitors each year, the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
have become a world-renowned example of how thoughtful, beautiful, and
strategic landscape design can capture public attention and appreciation. This
keynote will explore how their team approaches storytelling through plants,
inspires wonder in guests, and ultimately elevates the perception of
horticulture as an art form. Their insights will remind all of us—growers,
designers, maintenance professionals, conservationists, and plant lovers
alike—of the broader influence we have on the public’s connection to green
spaces.
Established in 1959, the Arizona Nursery Association is a professional trade organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the nursery industry for its members and the public they serve.
The business of the Association is conducted by a Board of Directors who are elected by the membership. The work of the association is carried out by the staff which is based in Tempe, Arizona, and have statewide coverage.
Nothing is more critical to advancing and growing Arizona’s nursery industry than education and career development. ANA places key emphasis on providing our members and the industry with opportunities to increase their knowledge in the green industry through our SHADE Conference, certification programs, and more.

ANA provides members with news, updates, and all the latest information you need for your green industry business. With Southwest Horticulture magazine and E-updates, members are kept up to date on current issues important to the nursery industry including regulatory, trends, economic news, upcoming industry events, and more.
ADVOCACY
Collectively working toward solution of problems common to all in the nursery industry and protecting the nursery industry is at the root of ANA’s daily activities. By providing interpretation of laws and regulations, raising awareness of plants and the businesses that provide them, and the importance of key issues, ANA represents the industry to legislators and regulators on the state and national level.
