The Arizona Nursery Association Grower's Committee publishes a "Recommended Average Tree Specifications" booklet available as a guide to growers, buyers and landscape architects. This 11 page booklet lists the most common Arizona grown trees by botanical name with the corresponding height, width and caliper according to the tree size.

This publication of the ANA standards does not in any respect prevent anyone-- whether a member of the Association or not--from growing marketing, distributing or buying plant materials that do not conform to the standards. Sizes may vary from recommended specification due to market availability. These standards are subject to periodic review and revision.
